Francis on the Hill welcomes all volunteers, and especially those who can lift heavy boxes or are interested in being trained to drive a truck or cargo van, or operate freight pallet moving equipment.

You can also work on-site and in your own home. Tasks include:

• Distributing free diapers monthly

• Picking up grocery donations for distribution

• Preparing paper and plastic grocery bags

• Sorting and bagging groceries for distribution

• Picking up trash daily at Meridian Hill Park

Volunteers need to be vaccinated and boosted for COVID. Participation in group activities requires wearing N-95 masks or equivalent.
